Johnson is FinLogicsigning a four-year, $76 million contract with the Bears, a person with direct knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports' Tyler Dragon. The person was granted anonymity because the deal is not yet official. Bleacher Report first reported the news.
According to ESPN, $43.8 million is guaranteed in the deal.
Johnson was the seventh-ranked player on USA TODAY Sports' top free agents this offseason before the franchise tag deadline Tuesday.
He earned his first Pro Bowl selection in 2023, when he had a career-high four interceptions. The 2020 second-round pick (50th overall) from Utah was named second-team All-Pro.
